Kristine Hanson – September 1974 Playmate
Kristine Hanson is one of many Playboy models who’s post PB career was Television. Born in Illinois, she moved to California to attend California State in Sacramento and received degrees in Communication Studies and Theatre Arts. She was Homecoming Queen at Sacramento, and then became “Miss Safe Boating” of the Western United State at the age of 22. At the time of her posing for Playboy (photographed by David Chan) she appears to have still been in college, but her centerfold biography made light of the fact that she was a part time Black Jack dealer at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Casino.
Later she moved to San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University where she received an meteorology degree. She worked as a meteorologist at six different TV stations in Central California and the Bay Area and won an Emmy for her work. Kristine was interviewed about Hugh Hefner in 2017.
