Based on the number of sites dedicated to the Swedish Sex Symbol Anita Ekberg, she was obviously a pretty popular actress. Her first steps to fame were in the Miss Universe beauty contest in the 1950’s. She didn’t win the contest, but did pick up a contract with Universal Studios as one of the six finalists. During the late 50’s to late 60’s she stared in dozens of films, many of them classics, and with many of the biggest actors in the day.
